Almeda L. Mattocks

Almeda L. "Al" Mattocks, 91, of Middletown, died Sunday, October 18, 2015, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. She was born in Arkansas on July 24, 1924 to parents Ralph Monto and Letha Anne (Buie) Lee.

Almeda was a beautician for 60 years in the Middletown area.

Mrs. Mattocks is survived by her son, Robert E. (Angela) Mattocks; daughter, Pamela Mattocks Lawson; daughter-in-law, Beth Mattocks; son-in-law, Dan Johnson; very special friend, Dewey Strong; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard B. Mattocks in 1981; daughter, Cheryl Ann Johnson; son, James Phillip Mattocks; parents; sisters, Joan, Lavell & Othel; and brothers, Fred & Carlos.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 23, 2015 at 11:00 am at Grace Baptist Church, 3023 N. Union Rd., Franklin with Reverend Max Fernandez officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:30-11:00 am at the church. Interment will be at Grace Memorial Garden.
