Betty Gallagher Gragg

Betty E. Gallagher Gragg, 83, of Turtlecreek Township, Ohio, died on Thursday, January 15, 2004, at Otterbein-Lebanon Retirement Community. She was born in Akron, Ohio on July 31, 1920 to parents Fred and Sopha (Wees) Statler.

She was a Medical Assistant in a Doctors office, for thirty years before her retirement. She attended the Springhill Church of Christ.

She is survived two daughters: Barbara I. Barker of Middletown, Beth Kay (Ray) Shelton of Middletown, one sister: E. June Morrison of Mansfield, Ohio; six grandchildren; Jeffrey D. (Katie Moore) Barker; Melinda Gallagher, Naomi (Jeremy) DeTample, Misty (Jacob) Mosquito; Megen (Sam) Saez; Melissa (Michael) Gibson; six great-grandchildren; Ceara Barker, Allison Moore; Conor Barker; Alexandria Mosquito; Jerean Mosquito; Dominik Saez; numerous nieces and nephews, and a special friend and neighbor Luwanna Cobb.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Eva Motter and Addie Adam, great grandson, Kyle Barker - 1996, first husband, Harold E. Gallagher - 1976.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 19, 2004 at 1:00 PM at Spring Hill Church Of Christ, 2021 Brell Drive, Middletown, with Bob Stacy, Senior Minister and Steve Elkins, Associate Minister officiating. Visitation will be Monday, January 19, 2004 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm at Church. Interment will be at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
