Betty Olema Spisak-Honshul

Betty Olema Spisak-Honshul died Sunday at Middletown Regional Hospital.Betty was a member of the Mayfield Community Church. She worked as an appraiser and real estate broker for Spisak Enterprises for 35 years, including 5 years as an appraiser for ODOT, retiring in 1992. Betty was Central Committee Chairman for the Warren County Democratic Party and founder and president for 4 years of the Warren County Democratic Women's Club. She sat on the Board of Elections in Warren County; the selective service board Great Lakes Region, the Warren County Mental Health Board; was a member of the American Association of Certified Appraisers, as well as a volunteer for the Family Abuse Shelter and Middletown Regional Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Thomas D. Spisak, Sr.; her parents Kelly and Betty Alice (Robins) Wills; brothers John, Clyde, and Kelly Wills; and sisters Norma Blay and Juanita Moore. She is survived by her husband Robert Honshul; sons Thomas D. (Rosa Lee) Spisak and Clyde David (Brenda) Spisak; daughter Elizabeth C. Smallwood; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Hospice of Middletown 4414 Lewis Street, Middletown, OH 45044.
