Carolyn Endebrock Lacey

Carolyn Endebrock Lacey, age 88, died October 10, 2026. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 7, 1938 to parents George and Clara Louise McLaughlin Endebrock.

Carolyn graduated from Middletown High School in 1956. She worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Otterbein Retirement Homes for over 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Arthur J. Endebrock; and her ex-husband and friend, James Lacey. Carolyn is survived by four children, Stephen Lacey, of Middletown, Ohio; 2 daughters, Linda Lacey and Kate Lacey, of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a son Timothy Lacey, of Cocoa Beach, Florida. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Carolyn was a long-time member of Christ United Methodist Church, serving for years as its historian. She enjoyed reading, writing, gardening, family genealogy and painting.

Cremation and Inurnment at Woodside Cemetery will be handled by Spaulding Funeral Home & Crematory.

A celebration of life will be Monday, November 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Christ United Methodist Church, 700 S. Marshall Road, Middletown, OH.
