In Loving Memory of David Lee McGuire

David McGuire, a devoted family man, skilled handyman, and hardworking steel mill worker, passed away April 29th 2026.

Leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and quiet strength.

David spent many years working in the steel mill, where his dedication and strong work ethic reflected the kind of man he was—reliable, resilient, and proud of providing for those he loved. Outside of work, he was rarely still. He had a natural talent for fixing things and could often be found around the house, tools in hand, working on a project or tinkering in his garage.

He found peace and joy in the simple things—casting a line out on the water, enjoying the calm of fishing, or settling in to watch his favorite Bigfoot shows with a sense of curiosity and humor. These were the moments that made him happiest. Above all, Dave loved his family deeply. With his big heart and an even bigger presence in the lives of those around him. He was known for his positivity, his uplifting spirit, and his ability to make others feel supported and cared for, no matter the circumstance. David's memory will live on in the lessons he taught, the laughter he shared, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Linda McGuire. Children Joshua McGuire, Michael McGuire and wife Katie McGuire. Grandchildren Madyson McGuire, Connor McGuire, Mackenzie McGuire, Nolan McGuire. Siblings Gina McGuire/Barge and husband Rodney Barge. Sister-in-law Ronda McGuire.

He was predeceased by his parents Cameron McGuire, Marlene McGuire and brother Gary McGuire.

"Those we love don't go away-they walk beside us every day ." Amen
