Donna I. Oberschlake

Donna I. Oberschlake, 88, of Trenton, died January 28, 2026, at Hawthorn Glen Senior Living Campus. She was born on September 7, 1937 in Marshall, OH to J. Harold and Irene (Daugherty) Mathews.

She worked for Magnode as a security guard retiring in 1996. In 1979 she was Chief of Police in Somerville, OH, She was a member of Amanda Methodist Church, and enjoyed quilting, Dial Radio Club and especially spending time with her family.

Donna is survived by her son, Robert Glen Oberschlake; son, William Joseph Oberschlake; brother, William L. Mathews; brother, Harold T. Mathews; sister, Clara Ellen Pollard; grandchildren, Megan Williams, Lesley Ann Oberschlake and Ashley Oberschlake; great grandchildren, Mira, Logan, Zoe, Evan and Kaylee.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph R. Oberschlake; brothers, Charles J. Mathews, Donald E. Mathews, David T. Mathews, Samuel A. Mathews; sister, Barbara Jane Norton.

Visitation will be Thursday February 5, 2026 from 11:00 - 12:00pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, OH 45044.

Funeral service will follow at 12:00pm at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
