Edward P. Byrne

Edward P. Byrne, Sr., 75, a resident of Urbana, died Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at Ohio's Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. He was born in Middletown on January 9, 1943 to parents Thomas J. and Martina C. (Greene) Byrne.

Ed worked as an electrician with IBEW Local #648 for over 50 years. He was a member of the Terre Haute United Methodist Church in Urbana.

Mr. Byrne is survived by his daughters, Tina Frye & Debi (David) Brinkman; brother, Thomas Byrne; grandchildren, Laith, Caty, Megan, Anna, Matt & Timmy; great grandchildren, Athena & Faris; and fiancé , Barbara Pennucci.

He was preceded in death by his son, Edward P. "Eddy" Byrne Jr. and parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark Street, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with IBEW #648 service at 7:45 pm. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
