Emma Jean Rose

Emma Jean Rose, 75, of Monroe, died Saturday, November 26, 2011, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. She was born in Letcher, Kentucky on May 26, 1936 to parents Shade and Vera Bowen.

She worked as a kitchen manager at Mt. Pleasant for 18 years.

Mrs. Rose is survived by five children, Sue, Terri, Tim (Cindy) & Rebecca Rose & Donna (Bill) Feezor; brother, Woody (Judy) Bowen; sister, Vanessa (Robert) Hall and 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Emma was preceded in death by her parents and 4 siblings.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to the Dr.'s and nurses who cared for Emma at both the Atrium Medical Center and Mt. Pleasant and to Pastor Claude Robold.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 1:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Claude Robold officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Monroe Mound Cemetery.
