Eva Jean Hampton, 73 of Middletown died on Friday, September 24, 2004 at Miami Valley Hospital. Eva was born in Middletown on March 17, 1931 to John A. & Mary Ida ( Rush ) Hampton. She had been employed in the accounting department at Middletown Regional Hospital until her retirement and continued as a hospital volunteer.
Eva Jean is survived by a brother William H. Hampton of New Jersey and a sister Thelma M. Spivey of Middletown, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and sisters; Fred Hampton, Ellen Mae Jackson, Verna Donathon, Dora Back, and Lorine Cappozzi.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at 1:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr. Visitation will Monday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Entombment at Woodside Cemetery.
