Gail P. Mack, 67 of Middletown died Friday March 26, 2004 at her residence. She was born in Middletown on September 20, 1936 to Dudley and Elsie (Hopkins ) Pierson. Gail was a graduate of Middletown High School, and she had worked at ARMCO as a secretary for 25 years. Gail was an active member of a local bridge group as well as a participant with the Middletown Civic Chorus. She is also a member of her high school 50 th year reunion committee.
After retirement Gail dedicated her life to her son, grandchildren and great-grand children. She actively supported all her grandchildren’s educational, extra-curricular and musical endeavors. Gail was a loved grandmother who took great pleasure in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We will greatly miss her caring and supportative nature which has sustained our family.
Her legacy continues with her son David C. Mack, Somerville, Oh; her mother Elsie Pierson, Middletown; five grandchildren; David (Krista) Mack, II, Circleville, Oh, Elizabeth Mack, Franklin, Oh, Sarah Beth Mack, W. Carrollton, Oh, Christina Mack, Franklin, Oh, Thomas James Pierson Mack, Somerville, Oh. four great-grandchildren; Kennedy Faith Bowman, Alexander Mack, Caden Mack, Brandon Scott Howard, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her father and a sister Barbara Ann Pierson.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at 2:00pm, at the First Christian Church, 4520 Rosedale Rd. Rev. Terry VanHeyningen and Carol Oetzel officiating. Visitation Tuesday at the church from 12:30 pm until time of the service. Interment at Woodside Cemetery.
