Gary H. Hunter

Gary H. Hunter, 80, of Middletown, died Thursday, January 30, 2014, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. He was born in Hamilton on June 10, 1933 to parents Harold and Imogene (Emerson) Hunter.

Gary retired as a foreman at Armco Steel. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting & fishing. He also enjoyed painting and working the Jumbo puzzle in the newspaper.

Mr. Hunter is survived by his wife, G. Darlene (Coyle) Hunter; five children, Cindi (Tony) Daddabbo, Laura Hunter, Joe (Jill) Klontz, Jim (Cindy, who was a companion & loving caregiver to Gary & Goldie) Klontz & Steve Anglin; sister, Susan Beckett; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and lifelong friend, Don Levline. He was preceded in death by his parents

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 12:00 pm. Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery.
