Gary Wayne Abner, 78, of Wayne Township, died Sunday, April 22, 2018, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. He was born in Ashland, Kentucky on September 18, 1939 to parents Elisha and Gertrude (Williams) Abner.
Gary retired as a foreman for Crystal Tissue. He was a wonderful woodworker and loved sports.
Mr. Abner is survived by his wife, Mable E. (Dean) Abner; daughter, Kathy (Richard) France; one sister; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, David Wayne Abner; parents; five sisters; and two brothers.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., Middletown with Reverend Jack Young officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
