George 'Corby' Cope Ii

George J.C. "Corby" Cope II, 23, of Miamisburg, died Friday, August 17, 2012, at Kettering Medical Center. He was born in Kettering on July 21, 1989.

Corby attended Sinclair & Wright State University and had worked at Champ's & Applebee's.

He is survived by his mother, Maggie (Jeff) Foley; father, George J. (Teri) Cope; sisters, Jordan Cope, Kayla Wilhoit & Madeline Cope; nephew, Carter Velde; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Furlow; maternal grandfather, Don (Betty) Furlow; paternal grandparents, Jerry & Kay Cope; the love of his life, Ashley Cope and many more loving aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 24, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Dave Moreland officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
