George M. Long

George M. Long, 64, of Middletown, died on April 29, 2026 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born on September 20, 1961 in Middletown, Ohio to Lawrence C. and Mary Ann (Hoover) Long.

George was a machinist for 46 years, most recently at RME Machining Co. in Cincinnati, Ohio. In George’s free time he enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, taking long drives in the country, and fixing anything and everything mechanical.

George is survived by his wife Rosanna (Marchetti) Long; sons, Lawrence (Deanna) Long, Joe (Cassie) Long, Patrick Long; grandchildren, Carson and Quinten Long; siblings Patrick Long, Teresa Conley, Mary Long, Monica Murphy, Regina Sievert, Julia Huibert; and many other family and friends.

George was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Charles and siblings Caroline and Steve Long.

A celebration of life will be held at 6 South Broad Street Middletown, OH. on Thursday, May 7th from 5:30 to 8:00 pm.
