Heather Birtch

Heather Lyn Birtch, 58, of Franklin, died on April 27, 2026 at Kettering Health Miamisburg. She was born on August 28, 1967 in Dayton, OH to Charles Robert and Ellen Jane (Hope) Gilley.

She was a member of the Prosser Chapter #367 of The Order of The Eastern Star of Ohio.

Heather is survived by her husband of 36 years, Danny Birtch; son, Robert (Rachel Payne) Birtch; daughter, Alison Birtch (Mark) Shinkle; daughter, Danielle Birtch; grandchildren, Rowan Payne, Lilly Shinkle, Alex Shinkle, Mason Shinkle; nephew, Chance Janiel; parents, Charles and Ellen Gilley; sister, Emily Anne Gilley; in laws, Thomas E. & Blanche Gail Birtch.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 5, 2026 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at Spaulding Funeral Home & Crematory, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (At Bonita Dr.), Middletown, OH 45044.

Funeral will follow at 4:00 PM with Eastern Star Services and Lay Speaker Darrell Miller officiating.
