Irene Walker

Irene Walker, 87, of Middletown, died Sunday, November 27, 2011, at Rittenhouse Senior Living. She was born in Manchester, Kentucky on March 17, 1924 and had worked as a machine operator for General Motors.

Irene is survived by her daughters, J. Maxine Shannon & Stella (Jim) Jeffery; brother, Cicero (JoAnne) Feltner; sister, Pauline Davis; grandchildren, Sean Salyers, Jason Salyers, Brandon Shannon, Bill Asher & Cindy (Asher) Webb; six great grandchildren. Bobby, McKayla, Willow, Hannah, Hunter & Lily; and special friends, JoAnn Kallick & Peggy Ackley.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robert "Bill" Asher; parents Robert and Cleo Feltner; and brother, R.B. "Robert" Feltner.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Interment will be at Woodhill Cemetery.
