Jalen Octavis Smith, infant son of Louis Smith and Amy Shepherd of Middletown, died Thursday, October 17, 2002 at Middletown Regional Hospital.
Jalen is also survived by his brothers Louis & Devon Smith; his sister Aryn Shepherd; his grandparents Helen George, & Terri & Johnny Shepherd; his aunts Joni Smith, Martha Shepherd, Angie Shepherd, Kimberly Cooper, & Violet George; his uncles James Smith, Kenneth Smith, Vinquente George, & Charles Brown; and his cousins Christopher Shepherd, Andrew Shepherd, Johnny Shepherd, Molly Brown, Kyra Smith, & Garret Smith.
Graveside service will be held Monday, October 21, 2002 at 10:00 AM at Woodside Cemetery, with Chaplain Jackie Ward officiating
