James R. Grissom

James R. "Jim" Grissom, 90, of Franklin, died September 16, 2026 at Ohio's Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. He was born on March 11, 1936 in Middletown, OH to James R. and Anna (Cornella) Grissom.

He was a 1954 graduate of Bishop Fenwick High School. After high school he served in the United States Marines and later worked as a pipefitter at Armco.

James is survived by his wife, Sherry Grissom; son, Jon (Mary) Grissom; daughter. Kim Kneisel; son, Brad (Stephanie) Rogers; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Rogers; grandchildren, Doug (Megan) Freeze, Jimmy (Maggie) Grissom; Owen, Savannah, Natalie, Eliose, Maddie, Jackson, Steven and Alex Rogers; great grandchildren, Pierce and Gwen Freeze and best friend, Tony Elieff, Sr.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Jason Rogers.
