Jana Marie Cavanaugh

Jana Marie Cavanaugh, 68, of Middletown, OH, died on July 16, 2026. She was born on December 8, 1957 in Hamilton, OH, to Anthony and Florence Fay (Couchman) Agoston.

She attended Lakota High School and then worked for St. John XXIII Catholic School, Target, and Capozzi's Italian Restaurant. Jana loved her 10 grandchildren, Alexis, Kennedy Karys, Kaiya, Hayden, Jaxson, Emma, Mason, Kason, & Ava. She always had a smile and enjoyed planning get togethers with her beloved family.

Jana is survived by her husband of 47 years, Stephen S. Cavanaugh; daughter, Shannon (Bret) Seipel; daughter, Shawna (Jason) Tobias; daughter, Sarah (Anthony) Farthing; son, Stephen A. Cavanaugh; 9 grandchildren, and her first great grandson on the way; brother, Tony (Nikki) Agoston; brother, Tom (Peggy) Agoston.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Kathy Roach and grandchild, Karys Seipel.

Visitation will be Friday, August 7, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - St. John Church,1405 First Ave. Middletown, OH.

Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 AM at St. John's with Father John Civille officiating.
