Joan Rich

Joan Rich, 64, of Middletown, died Saturday January 24, 2009 at the Atrium Medical Center. She was born February 11, 1944 in Cincinnati to parents Ralph and Irene (Fullenkamp) Hartkemeyer. .

Joan was a secretary for Holy Family Parish for 30 years and graduated from Miami University, cum laude.

She is survived by; husband Dan Rich, daughter Melissa A. (Alan) Church, sons Gary L. (Rochelle) Rich and D. Scott (Tricia) Rich, six grandchildren: Salena Rich, Olivia Rich, Clyde Rich, Lily Church, Lauren Rich and Bennett Rich; brothers Jim (Mary) Hartkemeyer and Dan (Theresia) Hartkemeyer; sisters Alice (Hooman) Abtahi and Rita (Bill) Pennman, and brother-in-law Jerry Huber.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, brother John Hartkemeyer and sister Elaine Huber.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish-Holy Trinity Church with Fr. John Civille as Celebrant. Visitation will be Tuesday January 27, 2009 from 5-8 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr.

Entombment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
