Joy Lynn Courey

Joy Lynn Courey, 62, of Middletown, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Otterbein-Lebanon SeniorLife Community. She was born in Winchester, Kentucky on October 22, 1960.

Joy worked as a mail-carrier for the U.S. Post Office.

Joy loved her family and will be greatly missed by her husband, James Courey; daughter, Stephanie Courey; son, Jimmy Courey; grandson, Jared Courey; mother, Charlene Hisle; sisters, Kathy Brandenburg & Diane (Tim) Wright; nephews, Kaleb (Jen) Brandenburg, Evan (Abby) Wright, Chris Hisle & Chad Hisle; and nieces, Cindy Hisle & Kayla Brooke Hisle.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Edward Hisle; and brother, Steve Hisle.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
