Julie Ann Mapel

Julie Ann Mapel, 66, beloved daughter of James and Marilyn Jean Mapel, passed away at her home in Monroe, Ohio on March 7, 2022. Julie always shared her love of animals, flowers, cooking, and humor with those around her, and her bright smile will be missed. She had a varied career, with time spent as proprietor of a yogurt shop and aesthetician among other pursuits, and received a degree with honors in graphic design.

She is survived by her mother; three brothers, James, Christopher, and William; three children, Erin, Joseph, and Lauren; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her father; son, Marc; and grandchild, Margo Amelia.

A private ceremony is planned for a later date. Instead of flowers, Julie would want you to express your love and light to those around you.
