Linda Carol (Ashcraft) Lassetter passed away peacefully, with family at her side, on October 15, 2026. Born in Covington, Kentucky on March 5, 1957.
Linda grew up in Northern Kentucky and moved to Ohio in 1987 with her husband and two children. Linda's passion in life was encouraging others. She worked to support disabled children and adults throughout her career with the Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities, volunteered with various charity organizations, taught exercise classes, and served in her local churches. She loved the Lord and served Him with her whole heart. As an active member of Berachah Church, she served as a core member of the First Impressions Team, led multiple ministries, was a special needs resource, and helped with a plethora of events.
Linda was the center of the Lassetter family. She always saw the good in people and treated them as if that is all she could see. She never hesitated to share a kind word or help those in need. Even during her brief illness, she often requested family members do special things to thank her care team. Our family often joked she could not go anywhere without having strangers tell her their “whole life story.” She touched countless lives by just being her sweet smiling self.
Linda loved God, her family, the color pink, strong Columbian coffee, hiking with her husband, walking every day, shopping with her daughter, meals with friends, and all of her grandchildren and surrogate grandchildren.
Our family is full of gratitude for the endless support of prayers, cards, and messages. She was precious to so many, and we have felt your love and prayers.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Ashcraft, as well as brothers Mark, Joe, and Tracy Ashcraft. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Steve Lassetter, and children Mark Finke, Erika (Brad) Kalnai, and Gabe (Chris) Flynn. She is also survived by grandchildren Lance (Tressie) Kalnai, Persephone Flynn (9), and Petra Flynn (4), as well as many surrogate grandchildren.
The visitation begins at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 24, 2026, with a celebration of life service to follow at 4:00 pm.
