Lois D. Freeman, 78, of Franklin, died on October 31, 2026. She was born on August 23, 1948 in Manchester, KY to Leonard and Betty (House) Parker.
She worked as a preschool teacher for Butler County Head Start. Lois was the best Mamaw and Nena to her granddaughter, Emily and nieces and nephews. She will be truly missed by all.
Lois is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Frank Wilmer) Shaver; granddaughter, Emily Shaver; brother, James (Kathie) Parker; sister-in-law, Wanda Freeman Kettering; special nieces, Sara (Dennis) Richter, Katie (Noah) McDonell, Michaela Collins and several other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard E. Freeman; siblings, Wilma, Becky, Pearl, Larry and Floyd.
Services will be private.
Interment at Woodside Cemetery.
