Margaret E. Farney

Margaret E. Farney, 86, of Middletown, died Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Ohio Living Mt. Pleasant. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky on July 10, 1930 to parents William and Margaret (Mahoney) Lenihan.

Margaret worked as a registered nurse for Middletown Regional Hospital for 30 years. She was a member of Holy Family Parish.

Mrs. Farney is survived by her husband, Jean Farney; three children Mary (Bruce) Brookhart, Joanne Farney & Richard Farney; and two grandchildren, Elizabeth Farney & Bridgett (Mac) Haines.

She was preceded in death by her son, James (Charlene) Farney; parents; and brother, James "Bill" Lenihan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 19, 2017 at 11:30 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
