Margie Gabbard

Margalene W. "Margie" Gabbard, 84, of Turtlecreek Township, died Friday, April 6, 2012, at Otterbein-Lebanon Retirement Community. She was born in Hardburly, Kentucky on August 7, 1927 to parents Dewey and Nancy (Tucker) Williams.
Margie worked as a civilian payroll clerk at the US Army Finance Accounting Center at Fort Benjamin in Harrison, Indiana for 30 years. She had been a volunteer at Middletown Regional Hospital for several years.
Mrs. Gabbard is survived by dear friends Paula & Roger Downs; 2 nieces, 1 nephew and several cousins.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents and Husband, Carl C. Gabbard; brothers, Edward "Shorty" Williams and Esmond "Mike" Williams.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 9, 2012 at 10:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00 - 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
