Mary M. Abney

Mary Abney, 82, died Sunday at Willow Knoll Retirement Community.
Mrs. Abney was a member of Hunter Community United Methodist Church, the Pythian Sisters, the Salvation Army Auxiliary, AARP both local and national, and the Middletown Area Senior Citizens. She was a volunteer for Otterbein Retirement Community and Longview Hospital.
Mary was preceded in death by her husbands Max Wise and Laurel E. Abney; her parents, Minor & Bertha (Schooley) Stephenson; sisters Faye Cade and Dorothy Trimble; and a brother Charles R. Stephenson. She is survived by sons Bruce (Betty) Wise and Jerry Wise; stepdaughters Sharon (Jeff) Dickerson and Sheila Gayle Abney; grandchildren Prisca Wise, Wendy (Mike) Brown, Taylor, Morgan, & Carly Dickerson, and Stephanie (David) Howard; and great grandsons Jesse A. & Westley Brown.
Reverend Robert E. Airhart II will officiate the funeral service. Memorial donations may be made to Hunter Community United Methodist Church, Shaker & Fisher Rd., Franklin, OH 45005.
