Michael O'Shae Winans

Michael O'Shae Winans, 71, of Fairfield Township, died on June 16, 2026 at Bethesda North Hospital. He was born on April 12, 1955 in Parkersburg, WV to Ray Richard and Coral Eileen (Riggs) Winans.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science at Concord College then worked as a recruiter in the steel industry. Mike was a great Jimmy Buffet fan.

Michael is survived by his wife, Phyllis Winans; brother, Eric (Miako) Winans; stepson, Matt (Margaret) Williams and their children Austin and Ford; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Sandy Greathouse and her husband, Bill and Beverly Sennett and her husband Roger.

In honor of Mike’s wishes there will be no services.
