Phyllis Jean Bowles

Phyllis Jean Jones-Bowles, 81, of Turtlecreek Township, died Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Otterbein-Lebanon Retirement Community. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on February 27, 1936 to parents Cledous and Myrtle (Lamb) Jones.

Phyllis worked for the City of Monroe as a finance director until her retirement.

Mrs. Bowles is survived by her sons, Glenn (Lynn) Bowles, Tyrone Bowles, daughters, Donna Bowles, Kimberly Bowles-DeBord and 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Edward Jones; sister, Elva Lawson.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 19, 2017 at 1:30 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Rev. Bruce Lamb officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:30 - 1:30 PM. Interment will be at North Monroe Cemetery.
