Rena Darlene Moore, 72, of Middletown, peacefully passed away on August 18, 2026 at Atrium Medical Center, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on February 16,1954 in Dayton, OH to Walter and Sarah (Allison) Smith.
Rena worked, and retired from manufacturing in the automotive industry. She was a devoted mother who treasured and dedicated her life to her family. She loved unifying everyone together for home cooked meals, conversations, and laughter. She loved decorating her home for the holidays, and birthday celebrations. She enjoyed the little things like a fresh cup of coffee, ice cream sundaes, listening to music, and planting flower baskets at springtime. She cherished shopping with her granddaughter Claire, going on fishing trips, and rooting on the Cincinnati Reds & Bengals. Rena held so tightly to family traditions and her core values was about maintaining strong relationships & lasting friendships. Rena was also neighborly, and valued their good company. She was a nurturer at heart. Incredibly compassionate, gentle and understanding yet tough, and strong willed. She was mindful, caring and loving in everything she put her efforts into. Always calm and poised. Always shining her bright, radiant smile while carrying forward with strength and resolve. Her cheerful, warm, and inviting presence was felt by everyone she met. To those who knew Rena, they mentioned on her ability to make them feel at ease, cared for and included. Notably, she was also quite hilarious and always found the right time to throw in the punchline with her witty, off the cuff humor that nobody expected.
She made everlasting impressions within our family that we will honor in her memory, and carry on forevermore. Rena was truly a one of a kind soul who will be greatly missed by all.
Lastly, Rena loved her lord and savior, Jesus Christ along with her love of country. She paid respects and was deeply appreciative to our service members here and abroad.
