Richard E. Angst

Richard E. Angst, 90, of Seven Mile, OH, died January 28, 2026 at his residence. He was born on May 24, 1935 in Hamilton, OH to Clarence and Dorathea (Cooper) Angst.

Richard worked as a Surveyor for Butler County Engineers. He was a member of the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church a founding member of Shiloh Knothole League of Seven Mile.

Richard is survived by his children, Nancy (Ed) Vanover, Thomas (Joan) Angst, Susan (Jake) Smith, Donald (Beth) Angst, Dennis (Angie) Angst and Jerry (Shannon) Angst; brother, Raymond Angst; sister-in-law, Sandy Angst; 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and 1 on the way and many other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Catherine Shirley Angst; siblings, Helen Angst, Alma Angst, Robert Angst, Edward Angst and Lawrence Angst.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, OH.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, February 6, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 222 Hamilton Avenue, Trenton, OH, 45067, with Father John Civille officiating.

Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park with military honors by The Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
