Richard "Ricky" Cox

Richard "Ricky" Cox, 53, of Madison Township, died Friday, February 24, 2017, at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born in Cincinnati on November 16, 1963.

Ricky worked as a diesel mechanic for 37 years, starting with Wise Trucking which was then bought by PI & I Motor Express.

Mr. Cox is survived by his wife, Jamie (Hill) Cox; daughters, Mindy Cox-Pottorf, Amanda Cox, Brianna (Hannah) Uchtman & Kasey Tipton; grandchildren, Chloe, Victoria, Sophia & Liam; and aunt, Connie Howard.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, Marci Neace & Robert Strome; mother, Sharon Strome; uncle, Robert Whitaker; and aunt, Roberta Back.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 3, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Mark McKinney officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
