Ruth S. Lloyd

Ruth S. Lloyd, 89, formerly of Middletown, died Wednesday, January 22, 2003 at Heart Fields Nursing Home in Frederick, Maryland, where she was a resident. She was born in Middletown on July 2, 1913 to parents Albert and Mary Ann (Hoffman) Schneider.

Ruth was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. John's Church and was a volunteer for Middletown Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Lloyd is survived by her daughters Marilynn R. (Robert) Holzman of Middletown; Jacqueline (Edward) Fox of Frederick, MD; and Jennifer M. (Frank) Dunten of Grand Rapids, MI; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Calvin F. Lloyd in 1988; her parents; her brothers Elbert "Bud", Robert, Arthur, Richard, and Walter Schneider; and sisters Mary Fay and Marcella McMurray.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, January 25, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish-St. John's Church with Father David Fay as celebrant. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr. Entombment will be in Woodside Mausoleum.
