Shirley A. Downs

Shirley A. Downs, 92, of Camden, died on August 28, 2026 at Avalon by Otterbein at Atrium. She was born on July 22, 1934 in Middletown, OH to William O. and Ruth A. (Kiser) Eck.

She worked on the assembly line at Snyder and Square D.

Shirley is survived by her son, Robert J. "Bob" Downs, Jr.; sisters, Eleanor Prush, Phyllis Richmond, Sue Capozzi and Mildred Downing; granddaughter Kelsea Nicole (Mike) Wlburn.

She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert J. Downs, Sr., siblings, Belinda Brown, Martha Wilson, Betty Gilbert, Jack Eck, Tommy Eck, William O. Eck, Jr., Jerry Eck and Eugene Eck.

Graveside Service will be Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Miltonville Cemetery, 5841 Howe Road, Madison Township, OH 45042 with Reverend Gary Agee officiating
