Susan (Botos) Nicholas

Susan C. (Botos) Nicholas 78, of Middletown, died on Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born in Middletown on Nov. 4, 1928 to Steven & Esther (Dudas) Botos. She was a homemaker and had worked for Aeronica, Monsanto and the Butler County Auditor in the Tax Department. She was a member of Holy Family Parish and had been active in the Ladies Society & Holy Trinity Bingo and Middletown Knothole Association. Sue and her husband Raymond L. Nicholas celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary last year.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter; Sandy (Chuck) Witters, three sons; Paul ( Barbara) Nicholas, Dan (Audrey) Nicholas, Jeff (Linda) Nicholas, two sisters; Helen (Earl) Schultz and Esther (Jim) Greenwell and one brother; Robert (Darlene) Botos, eight grandchildren Melissa Miller, Michele Baber, Melinda Witters, Michael Witters, Christina Hawkins, Benjamin Nicholas, Jason Nicholas & Sarah Beth Nicholas and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and six brothers.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 9:30 am at Holy Family Parish- Holy Trinity Church, Fr. George Klein and Msgr. Paul Metzger Celebrants. Visitation will be tonight from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. ( at Bonita Dr.) . Memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942
