Sylvia "Thumper" (Collinsworth) Tolson, 62. Beloved wife of Dorsey C. Tolson, Jr. passed away at her home on September 5, 2008 at 6:35 AM. She was born in Glendale, OH on Dec. 26, 1945. Sylvia worked 17 years at R.L. Drake Co. in Franklin.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Coodie C. and Ina W. Collinsworth and her brother, Clarence L. Collinsworth.
She is survived by her husband Dorsey C. Tolson, Jr.; two daughters, Sherry Jackson and Tammy Cokley of Middletown, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 nephews and 1 niece.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 8, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr. with Rev. Gary Mathis officiating. Visitation will be before the services from 12:30-2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
