Vada Lou Scianamblo

Vada Lou Scianamblo, 92, of Somerville, Ohio, passed from this life on June 5, 2026. Born in Bonny Blue, Virginia, she was the fourth of five children born to James S. and Perlina (Miller) Sizemore, September 26, 1933.

Vada was employed by Middletown City Schools, retiring in 2003. She loved gardening, homemaking and computers. Her great love was dancing with her husband, Angelo. They danced several times a week.

She is survived by her son, Trent E. Rodgers of Middletown, Ohio; grandchildren, Charles E. Rodgers, Richard (Nicole) Rodgers and Tina (Victor) Ikeda; a special niece, Emma Sue Torry and many other loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Perlina Sizemore; husband, Angelo V. Scianamblo; daughter, Carolyn; sons, Elbert and Rocky Rodgers; brothers, James Brewer, Thomas Sizemore and James Rayburn Sizemore; first husband, Elbert Rodgers; second husband, Richard Roby.

Graveside Service will be Friday, June 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Miami Cemetery, 6379 Corwin Ave. Corwin, OH 45068 with Father John Civille officiating.

Interment will be at Miami Cemetery.
