Vera Mae Conarroe (Keyser), 82, of Owensboro, passed away on April 9, 2026. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 19, 1944, to the late Harry and Margaret Stretcher.
Vera enjoyed spending time with her family and found joy in playing the piano, gardening, cooking, crocheting, and knitting. She was a devoted member of Trenton Mennonite Church and the Women’s Democratic Party in Ashland.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Danny Conarroe and brother, Harry Neil Stretcher.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Anna (Tony) Sparks and Darrin (Danielle) Conarroe; grandchildren, Ashley Saint (Derrick), Amber Russell (Brooke), Adam Sparks (Caitlin Flemm), Carter Conarroe, Iris Conarroe, Elias Conarroe, Cymani Conarroe, and Rinelle Conarroe; great grandchildren, Carson Saint and Greyson Saint; her sister, Sue Ellen Maloney; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 15, 2026 from 1 pm to 3 pm est. standard time at Spaulding Funeral Home & Crematory 3805 Roosevelt Blvd.(at Bonita Dr.) Middletown, Ohio 45044. Graveside services following visitation at Trenton Mennonite Cemetery in Trenton Ohio.
